New England Patriots owner and one of the NFL’s most influential figures, Robert Kraft was charged on Friday, in connection with a prostitution sting in Florida.
The Orchids of Asia Day Spa is one of 10 massage parlors recently shut down amid a widespread crackdown on human trafficking in south Florida.

At a news conference Friday morning, Jupiter police officials said Kraft was videotaped visiting the spa and engaging in sex acts with employees on two occasions in January. The two women suspected of running the spa were arrested Tuesday on charges related to maintaining a house of prostitution but were not charged with trafficking-related crimes.

Sex spas bring in a stunning $2.5 billion each year, according to estimates in a 2019 report by Polaris on trafficking in these businesses

The spa is located 20 miles north of a luxury home Kraft owns on the grounds of Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, near Mar-a-Lago.

“It’s very sad, “Trump told reporters during a Friday afternoon appearance in the Oval Office.” I was surprised to see it. He’s proclaiming his innocence, totally, but I was very surprised to see it.”
75% of sex trafficked victims are women, 25% of those are children (aged 12-14 years old, some as young as 9 years old). According to the International Labor Organization, in 2012, estimated that there are millions sex trafficked victims a year in the United States and 20.9 human trafficking victims worldwide. Superbowl Sunday is one of the busiest sex trafficked days of the year.

The top sex trafficking state is California, followed by Texas and Florida. Top cities for trafficking are Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Washington D.C., New York, and Atlanta.
Even though the story is about Kraft the bigger story is that these are sexually enslaved trafficked women. These are women that are brought here from China under some kind of pretense, a promise of a job or an opportunity that never materialized because it was never there in the first place.

It can’t just end with one person’s disgraceful behavior.
The news this week, whether from the Catholic Church’s child sexual abuse human rights violations, allegations against R. Kelly and the child sexual abuse victims left in his wake, Labor Secretary Acosta’s letting his “pal” alleged child sex trafficker and serial sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein’s off with a slap-on-the-wrist, or Patriots Owner Kraft, and billionaire friend of Donald Trump, it’s time to shine a bright spotlight on this kind of behavior anywhere, any time.
Keep up the fight, all survivors and victims of child sexual abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual violence. It’s because of you, of us, that so many stories broke this week. It’s because of all the brave survivors, that never gave up, never gave in, refused to be silenced, and used their voices to call out the Church, the billionaire’s boys club, the rich, the powerful, the famous, who for too long have made us their emotional, sexual, and psychological prisoners, of shame, silence, self-blame, and guilt. We have been sex trafficked, sexually abused, sexually harassed at work, sexually exploited on college campuses, sexually violated, tortured, and injured.

Thank you to the brave judges, prosecutors, police, legal system, that refused to be silenced in the face of injustice. Thank you to the media, to the reporters, writers, newspapers, blogs, who refused to be intimidated by billionaires, celebrity, powerful institutions, the presidency to give sexual violence victims a voice this week.
You give us hope. Thank you.

“Being sexually abused at such an early age was the scar on my soul. But I feel like it ultimately made me into the person I am today. I understand the journey of life. I had to go through what I went through to be here. But now it’s time to take action to save the next generation of women and children from what we went the
